PROGRAM IS ONLINE! June 8th 2016

We are very pleased to announce you that the provisional program of the Conference is now available online and it looks very promising! (‘Program’ Tab on the homepage)

We will have the pleasure to welcome three keynote speakers:

6 July: Krister Bykvist (Stockholm University, Sweden) Institutional Design Problems for Consequentialism

7 July: Sarah Conly (Bowdoin University, USA) Power, Government and Liberty

8 July: Raffaele Marchetti (Università Guido Carli, Italy) External Democracy: Institutional and Policy Dilemmas


Please note there is also a roundtable planned on 5 July (7 pm) ‘Happiness, Well-Being and Public Policies’ with Meik Wiking (CEO, The Happiness Research Institute), Eik Dahl Bidstrup (Mayor of Dragør). It will be followed by a Welcoming Cocktail.


We are very pleased to announce that registration for the Conference is now open!

Registering to the Conference goes through the following procedure: 

Sign in to your dashboard.
Go to Events Registration.
Choose the events you’d like to register.
Follow the procedure to pay online.

Registration fees: 200€ for Academics and 150€ for Students.
They include: ISUS2016 Kit, all coffee breaks, lunches and pre-dinner cocktails during the Conference.
Conference Dinner: 55€.

The new deadline for abstracts and panels is 15th February 2016.

CALL FOR PAPERS October 12th 2015

ISUS XIV welcomes papers and proposed panels on all subjects related to utilitarianism and in all disciplines and not limited to its general theme ‘Utilitarianism and Institutional Design’.
